Eve Clare has been living in my head for a long time — since 2000 to be exact.
The fist half of the first draft was written in November for the 2004 NaNoWriMo. Of course that draft was trashed a long time ago.
Initially Eve was supposed to be in a futuristic romance novel I was thinking of writing. But she demanded something larger and more complex.
The location name Karahque is derived from a Korean word that means pleasure. « top
